Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits Live by Rob Garrett

ROB GARRETT’S “King of Diamonds” Neil Diamond tribute Las Vegas residency CONTINUES ON in the “Alexis Park Modern Showrooms” at Alexis Park Resort Hotel.

Neil Diamond is one of the greatest and most admired singer/songwriters in contemporary pop-rock music history.

Besides being one of the best-selling and concert drawing artists ever, he’s also written and recorded the soundtrack of our lives — including some of the most unforgettable songs on the planet.

In the beginning of 2018, shortly before his 77th birthday, Neil Diamond stepped away from live performances after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s.

However, Diamond’s live performance legacy continues to be preserved for audiences worldwide through tribute artist Rob Garrett, known as America’s premier Neil Diamond tribute performer.

Ask Alexa “who is America’s number one Neil Diamond tribute artist,” and you’ll get the same answer.

Like his musical hero, Rob Garrett was a Brooklyn, New York native.

In the spring of 1974, his parents brought him from New York City to Las Vegas, where, two years later, he witnessed his first live Neil Diamond show when Diamond made his attendance-breaking Las Vegas debut at the Aladdin Hotel’s “Theater for the Performing Arts” in July 1976.

Garrett went on to see him multiple times across the country—right up until Diamond’s last American show at the LA Forum on August 12, 2017.

In 1980, Garrett formed his own band, “Rock n Roll Heaven,” and enjoyed a long and successful run in Las Vegas and across the nation before transitioning from lead singer of a cover band to a tribute artist dedicated to one of his boyhood inspirations.

In 1995, Rob Garrett Neil Diamond Tribute Artist schedule 2025 Garrett was hand-picked by Paul Revere, leader of “The Raiders” to portray Neil Diamond in the “Legends in Concert” show in Honolulu, Hawaii.

What was meant to be a limited run turned into a three-year success.

By August 1998, Garrett returned home to Las Vegas and continued to perform with “Legends” for another two years before deciding to launch his own show.

He began a busy tour circuit, building a devoted fan base along the way—earning the title “King of Diamonds.”

He continues to sell out theaters nationwide, often in venues that typically host major artists.

Garrett has also earned several honors, including “Male Tribute Artist of the Year.”

“Since he (Diamond) announced his retirement, I’ve felt a strong sense of responsibility to keep his legacy alive for future generations. It’s something I never get tired of doing,” he said.

On May 19th officially proclaimed the date “Rob Garrett Day,” commemorating Rob’s 50 years as a Las Vegas resident and 44 years as a professional Vegas performer.

Now in this year, Garrett celebrates 45 years as an active Las Vegas entertainer, with the last three decades devoted solely to paying tribute to the now-retired Neil Diamond.

It has been said that no other tribute artist is so closely identified with the original performer as Garrett, who has appeared at more Vegas stages than any other.

Since the June closing of “A Beautiful Noise” (the Broadway jukebox musical based on Diamond’s life story), Rob Garrett’s “King of Diamonds” show has become the only continuous Neil Diamond tribute in the U.S..

The Alexis Park Resort is located at 375 E. Harmon Ave., near the Las Vegas Strip.
